The Smith and Wesson M&P Sport II chambered in 5.56 NATO / 223 REM is the rock solid, quintessential modern sporting rifle. This rugged and reliable AR15 has a 16” threaded 4140 steel barrel with a 1:9 twist that is perfect for the most common and affordable sporting ammunition. This direct impingement rifle uses a carbine length gas system for reliable performance. The M&P Sport II features an adjustable A2 front post sight with a Magpul MBUS folding rear sight and is ready for your choice of red dot optic or rifle scope. This affordable AR does not skip on quality with details like a rounded, forged integral trigger guard that is usable with gloved hands and a slightly flared magwell to aid magazine reloads. Standard features include a 6-position collapsible stock, front and rear sling mounts, A2 flash hider, forward assist and dust cover.
